Product Description
AT467 Carbon Black Dispersion Tester (old model HY4670) is a system to determine the carbon black dispersion of polyolefin pipe, fittings and compound material. It is also suitable for pigment dispersion test.

Test Principle
Test Principle:
Small samples of raw-material pellet or material removed from the pipe or fitting are heated and compressed between microscope slides. Alternatively, a microtome slice can be taken.
The specimens produced are examined microscopically and the sizes of particles and agglomerates are measured, recorded and graded by comparison with a tabulated grading system. If possible, a rating of the appearance of the dispersion is determined by comparison with photomicrographs.
This system consists of microscope, camera and professional software. Based on the measurement and statistics of morphology, size, quantity of carbon black or pigment of the specimens, rapidly grade the carbon black or pigment dispersion and form a test report.
