AT472 Rapid Crack Propagation (RCP) Tester is used to determine the arrest or propagation of a crack initiated in a thermoplastics pipe at a specified temperature and internal pressure by small-scale steady-state test (S4 test). This machine conforms to ISO 13477, GB/T 19280 etc.
Features
RCP Test Units:
This Tester is necessary to for gas pipeline manufacturer etc. The sample is mainly the pipe that used to delivery gas and liquids.
★ Rational structure and accurate impact speed. There is energy storage device in basic unit, which shall convert elastic potential energy into kinetic energy,that the impact speed range can be controlled between 1m/s and 20m/s.
★ Friendly man-machine interface, Industrial control terminal was introduced and colorful touch screen display provides more information to operator, such as sample pretreatment time, pipe inside current pressure, impact speed, length of crack and test temperature, etc.
★Fast pressure filling and accurate pressure control. High pressure N2 source, pressure is settable during 0 ~ 2.5 MPa, high accuracy, easy to operate and fast to filling pressure, especially for large diameter pipe. For pipes DN200 to DN500, setting pressure can be arrived within 30s.
★ Special design module to make easy for system updated and extended to be suitable for different sizes of pipes.
★ High rigid frame enhance the bearing strength of system and multiple buffers in the frame reduce impact force from the high velocity striker, so that the component connection keep perfect after repeated trials.
★ High strength impacts die. The die is made up by alloy steel, high hardness and more durable. The machine can equip with different dies.
